Demonstrator of integration of wearable sensors. Public deliverable 6.4

Abstract

This document describes the demonstrator of integrating wearable Ultrasonic Personal Air Samples (UPAS) sensors derived abiotic or biotic data output within the Human Exposome Assessment Platform (HEAP) Hopsworks platform. The Hopsworks platform provides both batch and streaming ingestion and analytics capabilities, which are used within the presented demonstrator. The demonstrators use the notebook computation environment for development and exploration and then switch to pipelines and scheduled jobs once the code is developed and goes into production. The demonstrators take full advantage of the new capabilities to fully customise the computation environments. The primary research and development of pipelines is performed by partners from Stanford University and Oulu University (UOULU) and implemented in the CSC computational cloud with the support of the Hopsworks team.
