SAMURAI – Recent developments in drone-based sonic anemometer measurements

Abstract

This presentation gives an overview over the SAMURAI concept and its realization with the sonic anemometer as a sling-load set-up. It also shows preliminary data of parallel measurements between the sonic anemometer carried by the drone and corresponding instrumentation on a 60 m meteorological mast.
