Glossiphonia pulchella Sket 1968

Abstract

Glossiphonia cf. pulchella Sket, 1968 New records: Skadar Lake, sublacustrine spring Karuč, 42°21'29.80"N, 19°6'20.84"E, 09.viii.2006 Pešić & Grosser, 3 specimens Remarks: The specimens examined from Skadar Lake shows a general conformity with Glossiphonia pulchella Sket, 1968, a species known only from the littoral zone of Lake Ohrid. Our assignment to G. pulchella is based mainly on non­identity with alternative species, additional material and comparison with the specimens from Ohrid Lake are necessary to clarify the taxonomy of these specimens.
