Abstract

The dataset consists of 95 wing images of Bactrocera cucurbitae and 99 wing images of Bactrocera tau, saved in the Bactrocera-wing-images.zip file. Group membership is encoded in image file names. Codes: bac-cuc: Bactrocera cucurbitae; bac-tau: Bactrocera tau; F: female; M: male; CU: cucumber; BG: bottle gourd; RG: ridge gourd; 6 digits: individual number; L: left wing; R: right wing. Raw coordinates of 14 landmarks marked on the wing images are in file Bactrocera-raw-coordinates.csv. The dataset was published in Oriental Insects: Ganie S. A., Rehman S. A., Bano P., Tofilski A.
