WEST SIDE STORY (BATI YAKASI HİKAYESİ) MÜZİKALİ İNCELEMESİ

Abstract

Tiyatronun kalıcılığını arttırmak adına, ele alınan konuyu müzikle harmanlayarak, müziğin temsil içerisinde dekor, kostüm, makyaj ve tema ile uyumu eşliğinde akılda kalıcılığı arttırmak mümkün olabilir. Burada devreye müzikal tiyatrolar girmektedir.Araştırma kapsamında tiyatro ve müziğin aynı anda büyük bir sahne performansıyla etkileşime girdiği Broadway Müzikalleri hakkında bilgi vermek amacıyla Amerikan tiyatrosu içerisinde önemli bir yer tutmuş bu müzikaller hakkında bilgi verilmektedir.Ayrıca araştırma içerisinde West Side Story (Batı Yakasının Hikayesi) adlı Broadway müzikali incelenmiştir. MacTheatreMFFA kanalı tarafından 29 Nisan 2018 yılında video paylaşım sitelerinde yayınlanan West Side Story (Batı Yakasının Hikayesi) müzikali incelemesinde, müzikalin tam video kaydına ulaşılmıştır.Araştırmanın yöntemi, bir betimleme türü olarak video incelemesi, durum çalışması modelidir.
