Protoschmidtia grimmi f. incrustans Czerniavsky, 1880 Protoschmidtia grimmi f. incrustans Czerniavsky, 1880: 102 (no illustration). The present combination is a junior primary homonym of Protoschmidtia foraminosa f. incrustans Czerniavsky, 1880: 98 (page priority). Even though it is currently assigned to the synonymy of Metschnikowia tuberculata Grimm, 1877, the junior name must be replaced (ICZN art. 57.2). I propose Protoschmidtia czerniavskyi nom.nov., which is a junior synonym of Metschnikowia tuberculata.
