Abstract

The article identifies the processes of legal and institutional development related to the management of migration processes in the United States. And also, specific aspects of migration processes, categories of migrants, asylum status, temporary protection status and the right to deferment of administrative deportation, preferential visa categories, procedures for temporary residence and entry, family reunification, the Green Card program are examined, in particular, labor rights are analyzed migrants and puts forward appropriate proposals and recommendations for improving US immigration legislation.
