Seladerma luteolum Delucchi 1955

Abstract

Seladerma luteolum Delucchi (Pteromalidae) Seladerma luteolum Delucchi, 1955a: 49, 53. Holotype m, Germany (NMW [examined]). Material. HOLOTYPE m (cr, left antenna, right wings, left protarsus partly, right mid and hind leg beyond coxa, and left metatarsus lacking, right pedicel with ¯agellum glued beside body) labelled`Collect. G. Mayr; p. 440. 72. Or. Ex.. l; Lamp. ¯aviscapis FoÈrster, Type; 31/6 40.; SELADERMA luteolum n. V. Delucchi det.; TYPE [red]’. One slide (sc) labelled`81; SELADERMA [black underlined] luteolum [red underlined] ala m; L. luteolus [sic]5 ¯aviscapis ala [pasted over by former label]’ with right fore wing of holotype. Remarks. Delucchi described the female and stated`Type deÂpose au MuseÂum d’Histoire Naturelle de Vienne.’ but did not specify the number of specimens he had. Holotype subsequently remounted from micro-pin by me. It is a specimen from the FoÈrster collection. One female (cp) in the NMW labelled` ThuÈringen, Schmiedekn.’ and provided with Delucchi’s identi®cation label is not considered as part of the type series, since its data were not mentioned by Delucchi. Examination of the name-bearing types and a further three females from Germany and Switzerland (ETHZ, MZL, NMW) con®rmed the apparent synonymy of luteolum with Seladerma bicolor Walker as suggested by Graham (1969: 206). Status. Junior synonym of Seladerma bicolor Walker syn. n.
