Although there are several studies dealing with general education, this volume addresses the need to take self esteem into consideration in the language classroom and adopts both theoretical research and practical perspectives, with the hope of being useful for both researchers and practitioners. Self steem and Foreign language learning aborda un tema al que, sorprendentemente, se ha prestado poca atención en los estudios sobre adquisición de lenguas extranjeras y Segundas lenguas. Aunque hay varios estudios que tratan acerca de esta temática de manera general, este volumen aborda la necesidad de tener en cuenta la autoestima en el aula de idiomas y adopta tanto la investigación teórica como perspectivas prácticas, con la esperanza de ser útil tanto para investigadores como para profesionales.
