
Exochomoscirtes bipustulatus (Champion, 1918) comb. nov. Scirtes bipustulatus Champion, 1918: 219 Diagnosis. The species is externally very similar to E. bimaculatus Pic. Both species can be distinguished from remaining species of the genus on the basis of peculiar dorsal pattern. E. bimaculatus is smaller (TL of E. bipustulatus 4.95, TL of E. bimaculatus 3.75), has distinct prehensor, which is indistinct in E. bipuctulatus. Redescription. Yoshitomi (2008). Note. Champion (1918) mentioned in the original description that E. bipustulatus is similar to E. binotatus Pic, but the later species has distinctly larger elytral maculae.
