
Genus Euxenus LeConte Euxenus LeConte 1876: 409. Holostilpna Jordan 1907: 382. Type species. Euxenus punctatus LeConte, 1876, by monotypy. Generic diagnosis. Euxenus can be easily recognized by the presence of two carinae on each lateral pronotal margin, very small size, glabrous, shining body, and by the retractile head.
