We provide a catalogue consisting of 17 700 coastal-based instances distributed around the world and divided equally between three libraries: "A", "B" and "C". These instances, or Digital Elevation Models (DEMs), given in the form of regular rectangular grids (rasters), contain topographic and bathymetric data retrieved from the 2022 global grid made publicly available by the GEneral Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans (GEBCO). The "user_guide.pdf" document is also included in the "documentation" archive. It has been added to the root only to provide a preview (see below).

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
