Abstract

Klimaneutralität kann nur erreicht werden, wenn neben intensiver Emissionreduktion auch verschiedene Methoden der Kohlendioxidentnahme aus der Atmosphäre zum Einsatz kommen. Dazu gehören Aufforstung, beschleunigte Verwitterung von Gesteinen, Pflanzenkohle und CO2-negative Baustoffe. Diese Broschüre bietet einen kompakten Überblick über elf landbasierte Methoden der CO2-Entnahme aus der Atmosphäre (CDR, Carbon Dioxide Removal) und ihrer dauerhaften Speicherung. Neben der Klärung wichtiger Begriffe und der Darstellung der Methoden in grafischer Form werden auch niederschwellige Vorschläge unterbreitet, wie das Thema im Fachunterricht eingesetzt werden kann.
