Marine heatwave detection for 'Regional uncertainties of SST products in the marine heatwave assessment over the Asia and Indo-Pacific' Version 1.0Created on Jan 10, 2024 by Xuewei Zhang and Ning Zhao Contentstep1.py Calculate the daily climatologystep2.py Obtain the daily SST anomaliesstep3.py Find the 90th percentile of at each grid pointstep4.py Mark all values exceed the threshold by the number of days since 1982-01-01step5.py Find consecutive 5-day or longer MHW events, and output the start date (number), duration, occurrence, and proportion (1/duration for each event)
