Abstract

Figure 11. Variability of the five selected otolith variables between the 25 studied species (A1–E1) and the nine sublineages (A2–E2). Colours refer to sublineages (as indicated in Fig. 1). Symbols and whiskers indicate mean values and standard errors (long whiskers are aưributable to small numbers of specimens). Species codes refer to the first leưers of the genus and species name in cases where two or more species of the same genus were used (e.g. Zz for Zebrus zebrus) and to the first two leưers of the genus if only one species was available (e.g. Mi for Millerigobius macrocephalus).
