Abstract

Radiance desde los 00s se convirtió en el motor de cálculo de iluminación más validado y elegido por la comunidad científica. Junto a nuevos avances tecnológicos-teóricos han marcado los estándares actuales del análisis dinámico de la iluminación natural en espacios construidos. Sin embargo, de forma nativa no cuenta con un programa de post-procesamiento con este fin. Fiel a su filosofía y versatilidad, Radiance ofrece al usuario esta labor de acuerdo a sus inquietudes, generando que la mayoría de profesionales proyectistas adquieran herramientas validadas pagas para realizar estos análisis. El objetivo del trabajo es desarrollar y aplicar una herramienta de post-procesamiento que permita calcular y visualizar métricas dinámicas de luz natural a través de parámetros y criterios personalizables por el usuario. La metodología está dividida en dos bloques: (a) diseño de la herramienta y (b) aplicación. Como resultado se obtiene una descripción detallada del método de construcción de la herramienta y sus 6 ciclos de pos-procesamiento. y una análisis dinámico completo de la Villa de los Misterios (Nápoles, Italia). Este desarrollo busca proveer a los profesionales de una nueva herramienta de código abierto validada para su descarga gratuita y futuras mejoras.
