FIGURE 8 in A new species of large-bodied, tuberculate Hemidactylus Oken (Squamata: Gekkonidae) from the Eastern Ghats, India

Abstract

FIGURE 8. Relief map of India and Sri Lanka showing type localities of members of the prashadi clade (Bansal & Karanth 2010) that exceed 90 mm SVL (stars) and the known distribution of Hemidactylus sushilduttai sp. nov. (circles). The imprecise type locality of Hemidactylus acanthopholis (Tirunelveli District) is plotted as the city of Tirunelveli in the map, although this species probably occurs only in the adjacent hills west of the city, with the nearest likely habitat approximately 30 km to the west (Mirza & Sanap 2014).
