Representations by Certain Octonary Quadratic Forms With Coefficients 1, 2, 3, and 6.

Abstract

Summary: We determine formulae for the representation numbers for certain octonary quadratic forms with coefficients 1, 2, 3 and 6. We use a modular form approach.

Keywords

General ternary and quaternary quadratic forms; forms of more than two variables, octonary quadratic forms, representations, Sums of squares and representations by other particular quadratic forms
