Lake Mendocino EFO model - Synthetic Forecasts dataset: January 2, 2024 release

Abstract

Contains input data required to run EFO model at GitHub repo: https://github.com/zpb4/LkMendoEfoSynWrr Dataset support WRR manuscript 'Synthetic forecast ensembles for evaluating Forecast Informed Reservoir Operations' with final submission date of January 2, 2024. Note: For the associated EFO code to work as configured in the GitHub url above., create a 'syn_hefs', 'syn_gefs', and 'syn_hefs_prehcst' subdirectory in the 'inp' directory in the EFO model after pulling the model. For the 'syn_hefs' and 'syn_hefs_prehcst', the user must download the samples in 10 sample chunks (full 100 sample chunk would not upload) from the appropriately labeled .zip files and deposit the individual .npz in their respective 'syn_hefs' or 'syn_hefs_prehcst' directory.
