Hadis Literatüründe Kudüs: Şii ve Sünni Rivayetler Bağlamında bir Değerlendirme

Abstract

Abstract: Jerusalem, with its sacred sites such as the Temple Mount for Jews, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for Christians, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque for Muslims, is a shared sacred city among the Abrahamic religions, serving as one of the historical and significant religious centers today. Like in other Abrahamic religions, it holds a crucial position in Islam, being associated with many important events. Considering this aspect, questions arise about its significance in Islam, the reasons behind this significance, and whether the support for Islamic movements in Jerusalem by both Sunni and Shia communities in contemporary times is driven by religious concerns. This article evaluates the narratives found in the hadiths, which are fundamental sources for both perspectives on the value of Jerusalem. Through a comparative analysis, an exploration of the values is conducted. The research reveals that both approaches recognize the significance of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in their core hadith sources. Despite variations in the texts of the hadiths in the literature, they share similar content. Keywords: The Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jerusalem, Shia, Sunni, Hadith, Virtue.
