Resignificación de la asignatura Libras en una universidad federal de Mato Grosso do Sul: un antes y un después del Decreto 5.626/05

Abstract

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la historia de la asignatura Libras en el curso de Pedagogía de la Universidad Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) Câmpus Pantanal – CPAN, en el período anterior y posterior al Decreto nº 5.626/2005 que la regulariza como currículo. materia obligatoria en los cursos de formación de profesores para ejercer la docencia La selección de esa institución se hizo debido a que las mismas ofrecen el curso de Pedagogía desde antes del decreto 5.626/05, hasta la actualidad. Para ello, se analizaron los Proyectos Pedagógicos de Curso (PPC) de la carrera de Pedagogía en un marco temporal de 2000 a 2020, con el fin de analizar cómo se ha implementado la disciplina en la carrera. Los resultados arrojaron que en el periodo previo a la publicación del decreto no existía disciplina en Libras, solo a partir de la obligatoriedad del curso se comenzó a ofrecer la disciplina, a pesar de ello, la carga de trabajo comenzó a disminuir a partir de la actualización y vigor de cada uno. PPC. Consideramos que la disciplina Libras aparece en el currículo con poca visibilidad, por lo que apuntamos la necesidad de reformular la organización de la disciplina dentro del curso, con el fin de formar profesores capaces de atender las especificidades de los alumnos sordos en la educación básica.
