
Increasing incident of natural disaster across the world has raised alarm for everyindividual, organization, society and nation as a whole to stop exploiting earth’s naturalresources and start conserving it. Every activity of the human emits carbon dioxide and thushuman resource is seen as the critical element that needs to be managed to reduce carbonemission. This can be effectively achieved through successfully implementing GHRM policieswithin bank with the help of their HR managers. Despite of realising the fact that greenorganization enjoy enhanced productivity as well as performance through creating greenorganization culture; sense of belonging; and commitment among various stakeholders. Stillorganizations are not able to successfully implement GHRM policies due to various barrierslike: lack of leadership, employee resistance, lack of green culture, and others. Thus, thispaper aims at summarizing various barriers faced by HR manager in implementing GHRMpolicies within the organization.
