A simulated observation of a point source with fixed delay offsets for each individual antenna. The dataset contains 5 minutes of simulated visibilities and is in MS format. The target is a point source at the position of 3C279. The antenna positions are for the VLBA, there are 10 antennae in total. Each has a non-zero, constant delay value implemented in the simulation. The observing frequency is 44GHz divided into 64 channels. This original simulation has an off-by-1 error in the channel handling, which implies that the delay solutions obtained from a fringe fit will result in a 1.5% (1/64) offset compared to the input delays. This makes this dataset an excellent test for future fringe fitters, as they should be able to recover this offset. The input delay values in seconds for each individual antenna are: 1: 5.93E-11 2: 5.03E-11 3: 9.88E-11 4: 1.61E-11 5: 1.51E-11 6: 3.80E-12 7: 0.0 8: 2.12E-11 9: 1.14E-10 10: 7.16E-11
The data is set to Restricted Access, but is open to all collaborators of the RadioNet RINGS project.
