Abstract

Abstract: The article proposes to discuss the archetypes of literary narrative, based on the poetic anthropology of the French interdisciplinary thinker Gilbert Durand (1921-2012). The discursive outline has the so-called anthropological path of the Durandian imaginary as its background, from which the author establishes the semantic dynamism of the daytime imaginary and the nocturnal imaginary, elementary formators of the mythical narrative, the religious doctrine, the philosophical system, and of the historical and legendary narrative, from which conclusions can be drawn about the matrices of contemporary fictional narrative. In other words, Gilbert Durand's poetic anthropology promotes serious reflections on the constitution of the current narrative discourse thread, based on concepts such as schemes, archetypes, and symbols. Keywords: Poetic Anthropology. Literary narrative. Imaginary. Symbol. Archetype.
