
This research is entitled "Analysis of the Sources and Utilization of Working Capital by Gold Traders in the Perspective of Islamic Economics." The objective of this study is to understand the sources and utilization of capital according to the Islamic economic perspective in the gold business area of Sekarbela. The research method employed is qualitative research, specifically utilizing participatory observation (observational participation) and in-depth interviews. The research location is in Sekarbela, Mataram city. In this study, the instrument used is the result of the research itself. In determining the criteria for informants, purposive technique is used, and to ensure data validity, the researcher conducts a check through triangulation. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection tools include writing instruments and a camera. The sources and types of data encompass words, actions, and statistical data photos. The research findings indicate that, from an Islamic perspective, based on the input from 5 (five) gold traders in the Sekarbela gold business area, the majority utilize personal and inherited capital to sustain their gold trading businesses. The application of these sources and the utilization of gold business capital align with Islamic Sharia to seek legitimacy and blessings from Allah SWT.
