Abstract

Osmia pilicornis SMITH, 1846, Lungenkraut-Mauerbiene N a c h w e i s e: Bgl., Bez. Neusiedl am See, Jois, Hackelsberg, Saum eines Weingartens, N 47°57,3', E 16°46,7', 13.V.2022, 1♀ auf Lotus corniculatus, leg., det. & coll. S. Hopfenmüller. Osmia pilicornis ist eine seltene Art mesophiler Wälder mit Verbreitungsschwerpunkt im gemässigten Europa (PROSI et al. 2016). Sie baut ihre Nester in selbstgenagten Gängen in am Boden liegenden Ästen und ist daher an Gehölzstrukturen gebunden. Ausserdem findet sich ihre bevorzugte Pollenquelle, verschiedene Lungenkraut-Arten (Pulmonaria), hauptsächlich in lichten Laubwäldern und an Waldrändern (PAROLLY & ROHWER 2016). Der Fundort am südöstlichen Fuss des Hackelsberg liegt zwar auch am Rand von Gehölzstrukturen, die als Nistplatz dienen könnten, geeignete Lebensräume finden sich jedoch zwei Kilometer nördlich am Zeiler Berg. Da das gefundene Weibchen schon recht abgeflogen und ohne Pollen gefangen wurde, könnte es sich am Hackelsberg auch um einen zufälligen Fund ausserhalb des eigentlich genutzten Lebensraums handeln.
