Abstract

Tras su llegada a Manila en 1590, el jesuita Pedro Chirino es testigo de una danza bailada por un grupo de japoneses en la celebración del Corpus Christi en la que cantaban canciones sacras en japonés. After his arrival in Manila in 1590, the Jesuit Pedro Chirino witnesses a dance performed by a group of Japanese in the celebration of Corpus Christi in which they sang sacred songs in Japanese.
