Implementasi Pola Konsumsi Masyarakat Pada Masa Pandemi: Studi Kasus di Kota Pekalongan

Abstract

Pandemi global pada tahun 2020 telah menciptakan masalah besar bagi banyak aspek kehidupan, termasuk ekonomi dan kebiasaan konsumsi masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memeriksa dampak Inflasi, Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK), dan Produk Domestik Bruto Daerah (PDRB) pada perubahan pola konsumsi masyarakat di Kota Pekalongan, Jawa Tengah pada tahun 2020 dan 2022. Teknik penelitian mencakup analisis data sekunder, seperti inflasi, IHK, dan data PDRB yang dikumpulkan dari sumber resmi. Selain itu, statistik tentang pola konsumsi populasi diperoleh untuk periode waktu yang sama. Untuk menemukan korelasi antara variabel yang dianalisis, data diproses menggunakan metode statistik dan model regresi. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa inflasi, IHK, dan PDRB memiliki dampak substansial pada perubahan perilaku konsumen di Pekalongan selama pandemi. Inflasi mengurangi daya beli orang, tetapi perubahan IHK mencerminkan dinamika harga produk dan layanan, yang mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen. Temuan ini berkontribusi secara signifikan pada pemahaman kita tentang elemen yang mendorong perubahan kebiasaan konsumsi dalam keadaan pandemi. Implikasi kebijakan yang relevan dapat diterapkan untuk membantu pemulihan ekonomi dan mempromosikan resiliensi masyarakat di saat-saat kesulitan, seperti pandemi. Studi ini diharapkan berfungsi sebagai dasar untuk studi masa depan di bidang ekonomi dan perilaku konsumen dalam keadaan darurat seperti pandemi.
