C-tracker is a Lagrangian particle tracker code for hydrodynamic numerical simulations. It is written in a combination of python and cython. The numerical part reproduces the results of the "Tracmass" code by Döös et al. (https://github.com/TRACMASS/tracmass), with some minor changes in the numerical algorithm and a simple parallel implementation. It is developed for use with MITgcm results, but any C- (or B-) grid data could be used as a source for the hydrodynamic fields. The code, while tested for the correctness of the results, should be considered experimental.
The code repository, where improvements or bug fixes may be published, is https://c4science.ch/project/view/1415/

citations This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0
popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average
