
A complete lead alloy cloth seal from St Gallen, Switzerland, of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (circa 1424-1529) This seal is of the two disc type as it comprises two circular discs riveted together. An eagle facing left within a circular cartouche is on the front disc. The reverse disc has the remains of the rivet in the centre, and the letter S to the right.
