Estrategia didáctica colaborativa para el fortalecimiento del pensamiento crítico en ciencias naturales y educación ambiental

Abstract

Resumen En el contexto de la creciente complejidad de los problemas ambientales y científicos, el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico es esencial para que los estudiantes adquieran habilidades de reflexión, análisis y toma de decisiones informadas. El objetivo de este artículo es presentar los resultados de una investigación que desarrolló una estrategia didáctica colaborativa en ambientes virtuales de aprendizaje para fortalecer el pensamiento crítico en estudiantes del área de Ciencias Naturales y Educación Ambiental en el noveno grado de educación secundaria. El fundamento teórico se basó en la importancia de este tipo de pensamiento y las teorías pedagógicas que respaldan el uso de estrategias colaborativas y el aprendizaje en entornos virtuales. La investigación utilizó un enfoque mixto descriptivo, combinando datos numéricos y análisis cualitativo para comprender y analizar el problema de investigación de manera holística. Los resultados mostraron un fortalecimiento significativo del pensamiento crítico en los 25 estudiantes participantes, quienes demostraron una mayor capacidad para analizar y evaluar información, generar ideas creativas y proponer soluciones a problemas científicos y ambientales. La estrategia didáctica colaborativa en ambientes virtuales de aprendizaje se reveló efectiva y se recomienda su implementación en otros contextos educativos para fomentar el desarrollo de habilidades de pensamiento crítico.
