Abstract

A 9 km de Cedeira encontramos un magnífico lugar digno de visitar, Punta Candieira; situada entre la Punta Valteira y Felgueira sobre la cual se ubica el faro. En el Monte Purrido comienza un impresionante descenso, que se debe hacer con precaución marcado por diez curvas en forma de lazo hasta llegar al faro. Éste lleva funcionando desde 1954, año en el que fue inaugurado. Desde este lugar lejos de toda civilización urbana se contemplan los islotes próximos, así como los acantilados en los que el bravo mar nunca deja de trabajar. Visita obligada e inolvidable.
