Institutional Patterns in the Development of Freelance Employment

Abstract

The article is about the trends and patterns of the institutional development of freelance employment. The conclusion is substantiated that the source of freelance employment is the desire to save on all types of costs (from production to transactional). A classification of forms of freelance employment is proposed based on the concept of "third-party logistics" (TPL), which reveals the institutional features of its key forms. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the institutional features of freelance employment and the consequences of the regulatory impact of the state on the labor market.
