Supra-antennal setae present. Lower interfrontal setae shorter than upper interfrontal setae and the distance between each other a little shorter than that between upper interfrontal setae. Lower fronto-orbital setae very short, 1/3 length of upper fronto-orbital setae. First flagellomere dark brown, 0.16 mm long, with an aspect ratio of 1.83:1; arista 0.41 mm long, 2.28 times length of first flagellomere. Palpus dark brown, with 7 short setae apically. Thorax dark brown. Mid and hind legs dark brown, fore leg light brown. Fore tibia with 11 small near-dorsal setulae, the uppermost being longer than the rest. Mid femur without sense-organ. Terminalia (Figs. 23D–F) dark brown. Left surstylus (Figs. 23E, G) slender and long, with 7 inner teeth arranged in a row. Right surstylus (Figs. 23F, H) oval, with a long, finger-like basidorsal process, and 8 long and pointed inner teeth arranged in a row. Female. Unknown. Specimens examined. 2 ♂, Xinjiang, Yili, Guogou Reservoir 13-May-2004, Hong Fang, Hongtao Han; 1 ♂, Qinghai, Datong, 30-Jul-2004, Hong Fang, Hongtao Han. Distribution. China (Xinjiang, Qinghai). Remarks. In the key of Michailovskaya (2000), the species runs out to couplets 8, to C. schnittmanni Schmitz,1926 and C. floricola Schmitz, 1938. It can be distinguished from C. schnittmanni Schmitz by a long, finger-like basidorsal process and long and pointed inner teeth of right surstylus. It differs from C. floricola Schmitz by only eight long and pointed inner teeth of right surstylus.
