تشكل أخلاقيات النشر عنصراً محورياً في نظام الاتصال العلمي، يجذب اهتمام المؤسسات البحثية ودور النشر العلمية. وتتأكد أهمية أخلاقيات النشر حينما يتعلق الأمر بمجال العلوم الصحية خصوصاً، حيث يرتبط البحث العلمي في هذا القطاع مباشرة بالصحة العامة للإنسان في المجتمع. وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل محتوى سياسة أخلاقيات النشر المتبعة لدى عينة من الدوريات العربية المتخصصة في مجال العلوم الصحية (43 دورية)؛ من أجل التعرف على مدى اهتمام دوريات العينة بإقرار البنود المتعلقة بأخلاقيات النشر في مجال العلوم الصحية. وكشفت نتائج الدراسة عن (11 بنداً) من أخلاقيات النشر التي يجب الالتزام بها من جانب المؤلفين، جاء في مقدمتها كلٌ من: "المعايير الدولية لأخلاقيات النشر"، و"ازدواجية التقديم" بنسبة 95.3%، تلتهما "سياسة التأليف" بنسبة 93%، ثم كل من "تضارب المصالح"، و"الانتحال" بنسبة 90.7%، وغيرها. وختمت الدراسة بطرح بعض التوصيات المفيدة للباحثين المتخصصين في مختلف مجالات المعرفة الإنسانية فيما يتعلق بأخلاقيات النشر. Publication ethics is an important aspect of both the research and publication enterprises. It is particularly important in the field of health sciences because published data may directly affect human health. In this study, I examine publication ethics policies in Arabic health sciences journals (n= 43) indexed in “Web of Knowledge” database. Depending on the content Analysis method, author covered the most important publication ethics that mentioned in the 'Instructions for Authors' section in each journal. To investigate the Arabic health sciences journals in terms of ethical issues, author identified 11 main categories. The most important categories are the following: "Ethical standards" (95.3%), "Duplicate Submission" (95.3%), and "Authorship" (93%). Regarding the scientific misconduct, the study found that there are some best practices the health journals take into interest such as "Ethical standards" (95.3%), "Authorship" (93%), and "Ethical Consent" (88.4%). Only five journals (11.6%) have instructions about the sanctions will be applied in case of the violations of the ethical policies.
