Abstract

Apiomerus elatus se distribuye desde México hasta América del Sur. En México se reporta en ocho estados, incluyendo el estado de Tabasco para el que se tienen dos registros previos, uno para el municipio de Teapa realizado en el siglo XIX y otro para el municipio de Centro efectuado en el siglo XX. En este trabajo se presenta un nuevo registro para dicho estado, realizado en junio de 2023 en una localidad del municipio de Huimanguillo.

Apiomerus elatus is distributed from Mexico to South America. In Mexico it is reported in eight states, including the state of Tabasco for which there are two previous records, one for the municipality of Teapa made in the 19th century and another for the municipality of Centro made in the 20th century. This work presents a new record for this state, carried out in June 2023 in a locality in the municipality of Huimanguillo.
