Scutellum brown, with 2 pairs of setae; anterior seta one-third length of posterior seta. Pleuron whitish-yellow, except proepisternum and dorsum of anepisternum brown. Mean costal length 0.54 wing length, range 0.53–0.54. Halter yellow. Legs yellowish-brown. Forecoxa in lateral view whitish-yellow. Foretibia with 3–4 dorsal setae. Foretarsomeres 1–3 enlarged, inflated. Midcoxa brown. Hind coxa whitish-yellow. Hind coxal lobe yellow, only slightly developed. Posterior face of hind femur with basal transverse group of peglike setae; more distally with small, isolated toothlike process on ventral margin (Figs 61–62). Abdomen: Abdominal tergite 1 brown, tergites 2–6 yellow medially and brown laterally, with medial yellow area decreasing in every tergite posteriorly; amount of yellow varies among specimens. Venter of abdomen whitish-yellow, with few setae, larger on posterior margin of segment 5. Male terminalia brown, cercus yellow. Distribution. Amazonian Colombia. Derivation of specific epithet. From a Greek word for alone, referring to the single spine on the venter of the hind femur. Holotype. ♂, COLOMBIA: Amazonas: Amacayacu NP, Matamata, 3.82°S, 70.26°W, 21–28.viii.2000, A. Parente, Malaise trap, CAP-844 [LACM ENT 131841] (IAVH). Paratypes. COLOMBIA: Amazonas: Amacayacu NP, San Martin, 3.82°S, 70.26°W, 1♂, 17–30.vii.2000, 1♂, 30.vii–8.viii.2000, B.
