Komainu from Shinto Kaibara Shrine

兵庫県丹波市柏原町柏原3625の柏原八幡宮にある、厄除社の狛犬です。この狛犬は、柏原町の彫刻家磯尾柏里(初代)の作で、昭和27年2月に町内崇敬者有志の手によって寄進されたものです。初代磯尾柏里氏は柏原生まれ、彫刻家を志し大阪・東京で技術を磨き大正末期に郷里に帰り、格調高く独創的な彫刻を数多く残し、昭和43年11月兵庫県文化賞を受賞されました。この狛犬も堂々とした威風を備えた独特な狛犬です。 Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
