
This 16th-century wooden relief of a woman wearing a French dress with Spanish sleeves is one of the Heads shown in one of the galleries of the Stirling Castle. These magnificent medalions decorated the ceiling of the Stirling Royal Palace until 1777. Many of them have been recovered and they are one of the treasures of the Scotland Cultural Heritage.
