A Agenda do Trabalho Digno, a lei e a precariedade

Abstract

Abstract: The Decent Work Agenda was presented by the Government in 2022 as a set of strategic measures in the labour area aimed at improving working conditions, with the fight against labour precariousness as one of its main priorities. Based on this Agenda, Law No. 13/2023, enacted on April 3rd, brought a significant number of changes to the Labour Code, reframing the legal regimes regarding issues fre-quently associated with the phenomenon of labour precariousness, such as tempo-rary work or platform work, to name just a few of the topics that were addressed in this recent review. Recognizing the relevance and usefulness of many of the changes to the Labour Code introduced by Law No. 13/2023 for job stability and security, it cannot, how-ever, be denied that the goal of decent work is not completed with the recent review.
