
El avance y desarrollo en las técnicas diagnósticas ha condicionado un importante incremento en el diagnóstico de tumores adrenales. En este estudio, de un total de 25356 participantes, en 351 se encontró un tumor adrenal, lo que supone una prevalencia del 1,4%. No obstante, sólo el 30,7% de ellos eran adenomas funcionantes. Advances in diagnostic techniques have led to a significant increase in the diagnosis of adrenal tumors. In this study, out of a total of 25356 participants, 351 were diagnosed with an adrenal tumor corresponding to a prevalence of 1.4%. However, only 30.7% presented a functional adenoma.
