The present article aims to palpate the current state of the digital cultural footprint of Thasos and to discuss the possible perspectives, in the context of digital humanities. For this reason, the research team of the Athena RC / ILSP- Xanthi division collected and studied websites and applications that deal with and/or display the cultural reserve of the island and are primarily addressed to the general public, but also secondarily to a more specialized audience. This study could be the beginning of a systematic effort in the same direction, which will lay the foundation for the development of a model of sustainable cultural tourism, which will respect the island's rich past, as reflected in movable and immovable monuments.
