Análisis de fotoreactividad en sistemas orgánicos Donor-Aceptor como matrices UV-MALDI: Una perspectiva in silico

Abstract

La quimiotaxonomía de fitoplancton categoriza organismos según patrones moleculares, usando pigmentos como clorofilas y carotenoides de los fotosistemas como biomarcadores. La espectrometría MALDI-MS analiza estos pigmentos. Matrices de transferencia electrónica (ET), como DCTB y CHCA, se usan. Además, se crean compuestos Donante-Aceptor (D-A) basados en Triphenylamine, con sustituciones como -CN, -COOCH3 y -COOH, para mejorar el análisis MALDI. El objetivo es optimizar el uso de D-A como matrices MALDI-ET, explorando la fotoexcitación y la transferencia electrónica a nivel cuántico. Mediante la Teoría del Funcional de la Densidad (DFT) en las supercomputadoras INKARI y GUANE, se investiga la estructura y las propiedades optoelectrónicas, incluyendo orbitales HOMO, LUMO, UV-vis, IR, distribución de carga y potencial electrostático (MEP). Este proyecto busca comprender los sistemas en términos de su estructura-fotoreactividad a nivel mecano-cuántico, fortaleciendo la utilización de D-A como matrices para el análisis de transferencia electrónica, un campo crucial en la química analítica y en el desarrollo de tecnologías fotovoltaicas.
