Abstract

Este artículo informa sobre un estudio de las experiencias de profesores y estudiantes universitarios en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de las matemáticas luego del requerimiento abrupto de cambiar a la enseñanza online. Un objetivo del estudio es compartir experiencias que podrían ser útiles para mejorar la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de las matemáticas en entornos online. La investigación cualitativa descrita es un estudio fenomenológico y se basa en entrevistas con diez profesores de matemáticas y seis estudiantes universitarios que estaban inscritos en al menos un curso universitario de matemáticas online. Los datos de las entrevistas se analizaron utilizando un enfoque hemático. Este artículo informa sobre las percepciones de profesores y estudiantes sobre los desafíos y beneficios de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de las matemáticas en línea, cómo la transición a la educación online ha influido en la evaluación y el intercambio de enfoques útiles para la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de las matemáticas en entornos online.
