Abstract

This systematic review explores the transformative impact of Augmented Reality (AR) on navigation and wayfinding, integrating insights from scholarly books, academic publications, and authoritative sources. Employing a rigorous approach, the review examines AR's potential in reshaping navigation experiences, focusing on spatial awareness, accessibility, user experience design, and ethical considerations. The study encompasses a diverse range of contexts, including urban environments, healthcare, education, space exploration, maritime navigation, and cultural heritage. The findings highlight AR's ability to enhance spatial understanding, provide inclusive guidance for individuals with disabilities, and bridge the gap between physical and digital worlds. Key themes include the importance of intuitive User Experience (UX) design, ethical frameworks for responsible data utilization, and the ongoing development of AR hardware. Augmented Reality emerges not only as a technological innovation but as a transformative force redefining how individuals navigate and connect with the physical world, promising a future enriched by deeper spatial insights and inclusive experiences. Diese systematische Übersicht untersucht die transformativen Auswirkungen von Augmented Reality (AR) auf Navigation und Wegfindung und integriert Erkenntnisse aus wissenschaftlichen Büchern, wissenschaftlichen Veröffentlichungen und maßgeblichen Quellen. Mit einem strengen Ansatz untersucht die Überprüfung das Potenzial von AR bei der Neugestaltung von Navigationserlebnissen und konzentriert sich dabei auf räumliches Bewusstsein, Zugänglichkeit, Benutzererfahrungsdesign und ethische Überlegungen. Die Studie umfasst eine Vielzahl von Kontexten, darunter städtische Umgebungen, Gesundheitswesen, Bildung, Weltraumforschung, Seeschifffahrt und kulturelles Erbe. Die Ergebnisse unterstreichen die Fähigkeit von AR, das räumliche Verständnis zu verbessern, integrative Anleitung für Menschen mit Behinderungen zu bieten und die Lücke zwischen physischer und digitaler Welt zu schließen. Zu den Hauptthemen gehören die Bedeutung eines intuitiven User Experience (UX)-Designs, ethische Rahmenbedingungen für eine verantwortungsvolle Datennutzung und die kontinuierliche Entwicklung von AR-Hardware. Augmented Reality erweist sich nicht nur als technologische Innovation, sondern auch als transformative Kraft, die die Art und Weise, wie Menschen mit der physischen Welt navigieren und sich mit ihr verbinden, neu definiert und eine Zukunft verspricht, die durch tiefere räumliche Einblicke und integrative Erfahrungen bereichert wird.
