Abstract

Este trabalho apresenta a proposta de um protocolo de aquisição de sinais de Eletroencefalograma (EEG) para a criação de uma Interface Cérebro-Computador (ICC) baseada em Observação de Ação (OA) e Imagética Motora Cinestésica (IMC) para uso em neurorreabilitação de pacientes com Acidente Vascular Cerebral (AVC). O protocolo considera estratégias de reabilitação física, uma Órtese de Mão Ativa (OMA), uma plataforma de aquisição de sinais de EEG e um gorro com eletrodos de EEG localizados em regiões específicas do cérebro para discriminar tarefas de Imagética Motora (IM). Os achados iniciais desta pesquisa indicam que este protocolo pode ser utilizado para neurorreabilitação de movimentos de mão e dedos de pacientes com AVC. São apresentados como resultados preliminares desta pesquisa mapas topográficos de EEG, relacionados com posturas da mão (aberta ou fechada), os quais foram gerados a partir dos valores de Densidade Espectral de Potência nas bandas mu (8-12 Hz), beta baixo (13-17 Hz) e beta alto (18-24 Hz) do sinal cerebral. Esses mapas permitem diferenciar as imagens funcionais relacionadas a ambas as posturas da mão, o que pode beneficiar protocolos de neurorreabilitação de movimentos de mão de pessoas com AVC.
