Sensor capacitivo flexível para detecção táctil utilizando Ecoflex

Abstract

O Acidente Vascular Cerebral (AVC) é uma das maiores causas de morte e incapacidade no mundo. Uma rotina de tratamento é essencial para promover a reabilitação de pacientes com AVC, de modo que o uso de robôs é uma ferramenta importante para promover atividades de reabilitação com alta intensidade e repetibilidade. Portanto, este artigo apresenta o desenvolvimento de um sensor flexível (soft sensor) capacitivo para detecção tátil que pode ser implementado para auxiliar no controle de robôs flexíveis utilizados em tarefas de reabilitação. Sensores construídos com o princípio capacitivo são recomendados por apresentarem boa resposta em frequência e alta resolução espacial, embora sensores resistivos sejam mais fáceis de implementar. O sensor proposto é composto por dois eletrodos de folhas de cobre laminadas (largura de 0,0635 mm), duas camadas externas de suporte feitas com Ecoflex 00-30 e uma camada dielétrica feita com Ecoflex 00-30 e açúcar para aumentar sua porosidade. Os resultados experimentais demonstram que o sensor proposto pode detectar objetos com massas variando de 1 a 20 g. No entanto, o sensor possui alta sensibilidade aos objetos ao seu redor, o que dificulta sua implementação.
