This booklet is a compendium of those basic nuclear physics facilities world-wide which are considered genuine user facilities by management. As far as it has been possible the information is complete and accurate. However, the very nature of IUPAP means that participation is purely voluntary and in the case of a very small number of countries we have been unable to obtain information. In addition, apart from personal knowledge of the members of the committee it has been necessary to rely on the information provided by the facilities themselves. In spite of the obvious difficulties this is probably the most comprehensive summary of the research facilities available to the international nuclear physics community that has been compiled. It has been supplemented by a brief outline of how these facilities relate to what the committee feels are the major questions facing us in key areas of nuclear science.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
