Philodryas livida (Amaral, 1923) Type locality. Vicinities of Guaicurus railway station, currently in Miranda, state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. Distribution. Known from Brazil and Paraguay (Plt. 301A). Recorded in the southern portion of the Cerrado and in its contacts with the Pantanal (Plt. 301A), at intermediate to high elevations (Plt. 301B). Observed in the field in grassland (Valdujo and Nogueira, 1999; Valdujo et al., 2009, Smith et al., 2014).
