DYNAMICS OF NORMATIVE AND POTENTIAL DIMINUTIVES WITH FUNCTIONS AND STYLISTIC CONNOTATIONS IN ROMANIAN AND FRENCH LANGUAGES Diminutives, diminutive forms can be found in practically any functional style, but not every style updates them. We have social-human spheres where diminutives do tache d'huile. These spheres are: the daily press, the ONLINE environment, children's language, pamphlet literature, etc. But we have a sphere particularly rich in diminutives, such as gastronomy and everything related to it: taste, description of taste, aroma, flavor, sensory evaluations. It is precisely in this field where we find an impressive number of examples, some with a very high occurrence, others with a lower one. Less has been written and spoken about "lexical ephemerides", i.e. individual creations invented for a single text/context, such as république n.f. – républiquette (J. Delteil); être n. – êtricule n.m. (J. Audiberti); cygne n.m. – cygnon (Remy de Gourmont). The Coşerian conception, the linguistic contribution of the scholar Coșeriu to the study of diminutives fully helps us to continue and deepen this topic still avoided by researchers. 

Diminutivele pot fi întâlnite în orice stil funcțional, dar nu fiecare stil le actualizează. Avem sfere social-umane în care diminutivele fac tache d'huile. Aceste sfere sunt: presa cotidiană, mediul online, limbajul copiilor, literatura de natură pamfletistă, etc. Dar avem o sferă deosebit de bogată în diminutive, cum ar fi gastronomia și tot ce este legat de ea: gust, descrierea gustului, aromă, savoare, evaluări senzoriale. Anume în acest domeniu găsim un număr impunător de exemple, unele cu o ocurență foarte mare, altele cu una mai redusă. Mai puțin s-a scris și s-a vorbit de "efemeridele lexicale", adică despre creațiile individuale inventate pentru un singur text/context, cum ar fi république n.f. – républiquette (J. Delteil); être n. – êtricule n.m. (J. Audiberti); cygne n.m. – cygnon (Remy de Gourmont). Concepția coșeriană, contribuția lingvistică a savantului Coșeriu la studierea diminutivelor ne ajută plenar întru a continua și a aprofunda acest subiect încă ocolit de cercetători.
